One of my favorite spots in DC, Cork is hosting an Italian Wine Tasting this Saturday. They are pouring great selections of Italian Wines from their friends at Grappoli Imports.
Taste delicious lush Northern Italian whites, an end of the summer rosé, rich complex red wines from Piedmont, Umbria and Abruzzo, and to finish, something a little sweet and bubbly.
David Enright and Mo Fileppo of Grappoli Imports and Cork Wine Bar Staff will pour the wines and talk about the wine, the country, and the people who make it. If you’re not a wine drinker, this is the prefect opportunity to try out some wines and find your favorites. I’ll be there with ringing bells or more like a wine glass.
