Fly Beauty: Kiehl's Honors World AIDS Day with Limited Edition Hand Care for a Cure

One of my favorite beauty brands, Kiehl’s always supports charities to help with the greater good. And to support World AIDS Day, Kiehl’s Since 1851, the venerable New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care, is pleased to announce a renewed partnership with amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.

Today, Kiehl’s introduced Hand Care for a Cure, a Limited Edition version of its customer favorite, Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Donating 100% of net profits of each product dedicated to stemming the loss of life from HIV/AIDS, this heavy-duty moisture treatment is a thick, rich formula offering all-day care and protection to hands. Featuring a blend of select ingredients that allows skin to actually draw and absorb water from the air, this hand salve forms a “glove-like’ protective barrier against moisture loss.

The World AIDS Day Hand Care for a Cure product features a unique design of the symbolic red ribbon – worn internationally to increase public awareness of AIDS and in the lobbying efforts to increase funding for AIDS services and research. Created out of red hand prints, this visual displays the many hands that AIDS has affected, as well as the many hands working together to find a cure.
