'Nightmare on My Street' - DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
I’m sure every other blogger will post Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ since it’s Halloween but even though I love that song, I think I’m fonder of ‘Nightmare on My Street.’ I used to love this song!
Have a safe and fun Halloween!
Happy Halloween! Halloween Drinks
If you’re having a Halloween party and you’re stumped on festive drinks to serve, take a look at the list compiled below and you’ll be sure to have a party that will scare the pants off of everyone!
Brain Hemmorage
1 oz Peach schnapps
1 tsp Bailey’s irish cream
½ Grenadine
First, pour the peach schnapps. Then, slowly pour the Irish Cream. Do not mix! The Creme will clump together and settle at the bottom of the schnapps. It will have the appearance of an internal organ!! Pour the grenadine over the cream for a completely disgusting looking, yet thoroughly tasty party drink!
Pumpkin Pie
1 part Bailey’s Irish Cream
1 part Kahlua
½ part Bacardi 151 proof rum
Sprinkle Cinnamon on top
Mixing instructions:
Add Bailey's and Kahlua together in shaker and shake. Pour into shot glasses and add required amount of Bacardi to each and then sprinkle with cinnamon. Light on fire. Drink!
Wolf (Howlin')
½ Absolut Vodka
½ White Crème de Menthe
1 oz Blue Curacao
Fill with Sprite
Mixing instructions:
Pour spirits in a glass. Add some ice and fill up with Sprite.
Spooky Juice
1 oz Vodka

Jamie Foxx's 'Just Like Me' featuring T.I.
Breakfast at Tiffany's
I was re-watching one of my favorite movies, “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” and I’m still in awe at how fly Holly Golightly was. From her simple but chic dresses when she traveled to see Sally Tomato to her accessories when she slept.
With roommates and loud noise from the city streets, I often wish I could have a pair of Holly Golightly’s tassel earplugs to block out the distracting noise of the night to get some much needed beauty sleep.
Ear Plugs by Jen Gen has made the cutest earplug tassels that remind me of Ms. Golightly. And for $ 5.99 a pop, I say it’s a cheap investment to ensure my beauty rest.
I’m also going to pick up the Holly Golightly sleep mask to fully get my Audrey Hepburn on. How funky is this sleep mask? Sleep mask sold here.

Cherish's 'Bump Like Some Speakers'
I just found this Timberland produced track from the all girl group Cherish. I like the chorus up until they sing how we’re gonna bump like speakers, the lyrics before that are actually good lyrics and they sound mature, but the whole bumping like speakers throws me off. I think they like comparing love to items, I used to play their song, 'Chevy' out but again they compared love making to being treated like a chevy.

Q-Tip feat. Eve: "Gettin' Up" (Remix)
Woof! Hottie from Flavor of Love 2 Spotted!
Hottie from Flavor of Love 2 attended Howard University’s homecoming YardFest last Friday. The only reason I’m featuring her is to serve as an example of what is NOT fly. Come on Hottie, you know you can get a better weave and blonde just isn't your color. The hair, the makeup, the outfit, everything is just all-wrong.
WOOF!

New Beauty Product: Shiny Mama hits stores!
Yana Chupenko, the original “Shiny Mama” came to United States as a child from Ukraine in the mid 70’s and settled in Queens, New York. She fell in love with the New York cultured and took images from the streets’ glitter of broken glass and the vibe of rock roll and started her band, Shiny Mama. Chupenko continued her loved of punk and rock and roll and rolled into the makeup world.
Shiny Mama Cosmetics is not for the faint of heart; it’s for the girls whose inner hearts screams rock and roll. Shiny Mama is a multipurpose line filled with glitter and shimmer. “Snow White” is a soft fine glitter that can be mixed with other eye shadows, gloss/lipsticks and on the body and the hair. Packaged like a diamond gem, its soft white color pairs well with the fall weather and can be easily mixed with a dark shadow for an alternative smoky eye look.
Shimmer All is for all over glam. This shimmery product doubles as a blush and when mixed it takes eye shadows from matte to shimmery. You can add Shimmery All to liquid liner to achieve a shimmer liner or mix it with clear/colored nail varnish for a pearl like effect. With a unique sponge applicator in the cap, Shimmer All makes it easy to add light sparkle to accentuate your body’s beloved parts, such as the d’colletage area.
Shiny Mama’s multipurpose Gleam All in “Precious Gem” is a two-sided pencil with a slivery tip called “Frost” and a gold side called “Sunray”. This pencil is ideal for lining your eyes for a cool effect.
Shiny Mama is a new brand that embraces the inner rock star. Starting at $15 dollars, this line is for the star in all of us. You can shop for Shiny Mama here.

Obama Style!
Wow, how hot is Obama? He is a global icon. Check out the Obama dress that debuted in Paris for fashion week. I would so rock this dress everywhere! Now a McCain dress? That's not ever going to happen. I've seen Republican shirts on sale at Urban Outfitters since August, even at a markdown price, they can't sell that sh*t! Take that Sarah Palin!
